K1 Technique
Level 2 > reverse pivot
- Early forward power/sweep stroke driving the bow above the gateline
- Reverse pivot pushing boat under entry pole and onto gateline
- Lean back off the pole (stern down but keeping the boat flat)
- Taking the right arm and blade under the pole
- Converting to bow rudder to set up exit forward power stroke
